Election Day is Tuesday
November
3rd, 2009 I ask for your vote on November
3rd, so I that I may continue to support the City that I have been a part of
my whole life. At a critical time, when we are growing into the 3rd largest
city in Maryland, we need proven leadership to guide us into a smart future,
to protect our children's education and our families' safety. I have always
given back to our community, to help make Bowie the best possible city it can
be.
Fought for revitalization in Old
Town Bowie and won
Fought for new improvements to aging
Bowie High School and won
Fought to reduce crime in district
one and winning
Maintained no tax increase for city
residents in a troubled economy
Financially responsible with the
design and construction of city projects
Supports new focus to reduce
speeding on our city streets
Worked as a team with colleagues for
the betterment of all of Bowie
Full support of the city police
force and efforts to hire more officers under the federal stimulus program
Helped provided a balanced budget
without layoffs or furloughs of our excellent city employees.
